According to her PET-CT scan, the cancer has affected the lower thoracic esophagus, extending to the gastro-esophageal junction, involving the upper part of the stomach (cardia and fundus), with lymph node metastasis, making immediate treatment absolutely critical.
Doctors at Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute, Mira Road, have advised 17 cycles of Immunotherapy, with an estimated treatment cost of ₹7,38,290. This enormous expense is far beyond what her family can afford.
